MTV Movie Awards 2010 | Celebrity Style

{YBA} The carpet at the MTV Movie Awards was bright red and very glittery. Just about every other starlet wore a sequined dress to Sunday night’s tribute to the silver screen.

A newly blond Lindsay Lohan gave the carpet some ’70s flair in a sparkle-encrusted pantsuit by designer Pamella Roland. Her look was both fashionable and strategic, Wide legs covered the alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet Linds was ordered to wear late last month.

Eva Mendes was all blue, gold, and gorgeous in a glittery one-shoulder frock by Stella McCartney. She paired the look with goldtrophy-colored shoes and accessories.

Katy Perry donned a nude Zuhair Murad dress with strategically placed clusters of sequins that kept her decent. Up top, the future Mrs. Brand rocked Smurfette-blue hair – a tribute to her upcoming role in the animated film.

Vanessa Hudgens lit up the red carpet a subtle splash of sparkle. The “High School Musical” star wore a summery white Jenny Packham dress with a constellation of sequins wrapped around the bodice.

The golden popcorn bucket doesn’t hold the same clout as most other statuettes in Tinseltown, but the stars still flock to the MTV Movie Awards—perhaps because they love to cut loose on the red carpet. Expect to see lots of leg from the crowd.

Scarlett Johansson in Dolce & Gabbana
Scarlett Johansson looked amazing, if a little thin, at the MTV Movie Awards yesterday in LA.
The actress wore a green lace strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress that seemed to, though gorgeous, minimize her, er, envious assets.
We love the neckline and the skinny black belt highlighting her tiny waist.
Scarlett paired it with black satin Dolce & Gabbana peep toe pumps.

Lindsay Lohan in Pamella Roland
Lindsay Lohan attended the MTV Movie Awards yesterday and looked better then we’ve seen her in a long long time.
Well- from the waist up.
The actress wore a silver and white jumpsuit with a plunging neckline by Pamella Roland – the flared legs cleverly concealing the SCRAM bracelet around her ankle.
We’re not at all sure about the outfit, but we’ll give her free pass considering how happy and glowing she looked.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson kiss on Stage

Christina Aguilera in Atelier Versace
Christina Aguilera attended the MTV Movie Awards last night and wore the most dramatic gown of the evening.
The Not Myself Tonight singer wore this black Atelier Versace Spring 2010 dress with chain straps, a criss-cross front and an asymmetrical flowing train.
Christina chose to go for a retro style with her hair and make up, with her blonde hair in a sleek updo and her ever-present red lipstick.

Katy Perry in Zuhair Murad (and a Blue Wig)
Katy Perry attended the MTV Movie Awards yesterday and left little to the imagination in her sheer Zuhair Murad dress with strategically placed crystals.

Katy Perry Nails & Blue Wig Trend 2010
The singer teamed her dress with an electric blue wig and canary yellow nails, and changed into a wonderwoman inspired playsuit for her performance of California Gurls with Snoop Dogg.
Speaking of Calafornia Gurls, we’ve got our hands on a preview of the music video – where you can see Katy’s wig again. Check it out below.
