Pakistan Fashion Design Council And Sunsilk Present 2nd Fashion Week 2010 In Karachi

In an exciting initiative by the Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) and Sunsilk, November 10th 2010, marked the debut of the second Fashion Week in Pakistan. 10th to the 13th of November 2010 in the cosmopolitan city of Karachi featuring 4 days of high fashion by Pakistani designers across the country, encompassing both the leading names from the industry as well as its emerging talents.

The week will feature 24 distinct designers who will showcase creations from their Spring/Summer 2011 pret-a-porter collections, with daily post-show exhibition stalls at the venue, thereby aligning the Pakistani fashion industry with international trends.

It is the platform to map Pakistan on international fashion week circiuts. This will be the second time the event is being held and there will be a complete synergy between three aspects of the business – the designers, the crafts people and the textile industry. All three have worked together in a planned, cohesive and sustained manner to add value to products, Sehyr Saigol, chairperson of PFDC’s executive committee, told IANS.

So folks get ready to follow your favorite designers with their latest creations and trends, and off course, the gorgeous beautiful assets of Pakistani fashion industry, yes, Pakistan’s very own fashion models as they walk the ramp at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion week 2010 in Karachi.
