Natural oils like lavender oil, tea tree oil or jojoba oil can be used to moisturize the skin as they limit the sebum production by sebaceous glands. These oils act as natural acne cures, but work best when applied in limits and in a diluted form as they might cause allergy to acne prone skin.

After a sufficient amount of oil is on the skin, let it sit there for 1 to 2 minutes to soak in. Use a dry washcloth to wipe away any excess oil that may remain on the skin.
