Most Effect Ways To Remove Unwanted Hairs

Most people are spending a lot of money on the latest techniques to remove unwanted hair on their faces, legs, arms, chests, backs and private areas. So many women face the hassle of having extra body hair on places that hair is not exactly welcome. Unfortunately, professional hair removal can be very costly leaving these women unsure of how to take care of this problem.

Thankfully, there are numerous different methods for removing hair right in the comfort of their own home that women can use. Techniques such as shaving, tweezing or using depilatories do not cost a lot of money and are simple to put into practice.

If like many ladies, you opt to shave for your hair removal method of choice, always opt for razors that are designed specifically for women. These razors are shaped in such a way that they are ideal for a woman’s grip. They are also angled to provide a lady with the exact type of shave that she is looking for.

Easy Ways to Remove Unwanted Hair:

Shaving:

This is the most common method, probably because it is non time consuming. You can shave the hair on your legs and underarms, but avoid shaving the arms, bikini line or face. Never shave dry skin when the hair is wet, it is much more pliable, therefore always use a special shaving gel or lotion, and ensure your razor is sharp. It is recommended to invest in a good quality razor designed especially for women and change the blade regularly, or if you use disposable razors, make sure you do not use them when they become blunt. On legs, shave against the area of growth, although take care not to go over the same area repeatedly, as this can cause hairs to become ingrown. The effects of shaving do not last long and may need to be repeated on a daily basis.

Tweezing:

Tweezing is a method that is used to pluck the hairs from the roots. There are many tweezers available. An example of a tweezer is a product called Emjoi Optima Dual Opposed Tweezer System which is used to remove unwanted hair from legs, underarms and bikini line. Threading is a process in which a cotton thread is placed on the hairs to be removed and twisted so that the hairs entangle in the thread. When the thread is lifted it will remove unwanted hair from the root.

Waxing:

These waxing tips will help you properly take care of unwanted hair. Waxing is done by applying a hot wax formula, usually honey-based, to the area. Then a cloth strip is applied over the wax and when the wax cools and hardens to the strip (which only takes a few seconds), the cloth is pulled off in one quick swipe. Waxing can be used anywhere on the body, but is more popular for lips, eyebrows and bikini areas. Be sure to wax only a small portion at a time. Depending on the area being waxed, it may sting a bit, but only for a second.

Redness and puffiness can also occur temporarily. However the benefit of the wax job is quite worth it. Take an ibuprofen 30 minutes before the procedure to minimize pain and puffiness. Waxing isn’t very expensive and it is always a good idea to let a professional do the job before trying it yourself at home. If skin tends to be sensitive, apply aloe vera to the area afterward. Any tenderness and redness should subside within an hour. Waxing usually lasts up to a month.

Electrolysis:

Electrolysis is a process that is used to remove unwanted hair in the body by passing a DC or AC current to the hair follicles to destroy it. This will remove hair and the hairs will not appear for at least 6 weeks after electrolysis. The hairs that appear after 6 weeks will be sparse and not dense as before. To remove unwanted hair permanently electrolysis is the process that has to be adopted for removing hairs.

Laser Treatment:

Laser treatment also destroys the hair follicles with the help of the laser beams. Since laser treatment has to be done for each hair follicle it will take a lot of time to remove unwanted hair from a region in our body. Moreover the cost of laser treatment is higher when compared to the other methods.

Depilatories:

These can be creams, gels, or lotions. They work by dissolving the hair below the skin’s surface. Nair is one of the most popular depilatory creams. It is very effective on coarse hair and only takes about 10 to 20 minutes for the whole process. However, products like these can sting or burn the skin, especially if left on too long. They are known to have an unpleasant odor and most of them cannot be used on the face.
