Home Remedies of Honey

Take 1 peeled cored apple and 1 tablespoon of honey and blend it in food processor until smooth. Apply mixture on face for 15 minutes and wash it off.

Take 1 table spoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of finely ground almonds, 2 tablespoons of dry oatmeal, some lemon juice or yogurt. Apply this paste to your face and massage it gently then rinse it with warm water. It acts as a facial scrub.

For silky and luscious skin, add 1/4 cup of honey to your hot bath water.

Honey Toners

Honey toners can be prepared in 2 ways, one by mixing honey with cucumber puree and one by mixing honey and pulse with apple. The toners must be applied smoothly on the face and kept for around 15 minutes; after that you must rinse it off using water.

Honey Cleanser

Prepare a cleanser by mixing ¼ cup of honey, ½ cup of glycerin and 1 tablespoon of liquid soap. Apply it gently on your face with a soft face sponge and rinse off using warm water.

Honey Scrub

Mix 1 tablespoon each of finely grounded almonds and honey, 2 tablespoon of dry oatmeal and any one of one tablespoon of yogurt or one teaspoon of lemon juice. Massage this mixture gently on your face for 5 minutes and then rinse of using water.

Honey Mask Recipes for Skin Care

Pumpkin Honey Mask

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of peeled pumpkin
  • 4 teaspoons of corn flour
  • 2 teaspoons of aloe vera gel
  • 2 teaspoons of mashed pineapple
  • 1 teaspoon of green tea
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sunflower oil

Preparation:

Prepare green tea and let it rest a bit. While that is cooling down, combine pineapple, honey, pumpkin, and aloe gel. Add to that sunflower oil and then green tea. Mix well.

Apply the mix on the face and neck and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and pad dry. This amount is enough for 4 applications. Keep it in a glass jar, tightly closed and refrigerated. It is not to be used after 2 weeks.

Honey Blueberry Facial Mask

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • ½ cup Honey
  • ½ cup Plain Yogurt

Preparation:

Rinse blueberries and place in blender or food processor. Add the honey and yogurt, blend until smooth. With fingertips and a light touch, smooth over face. Let remain for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water and a damp cloth. Here is one that is easy and leaves you feeling so silky.

Honey Glycerin Mask

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of glycerin (alternatively, use 3 teaspoons of Vodka but do not add water)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of water.
  • 1 teaspoon of wheat flour.

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients and apply it in a thin layer on the face. Leave it on for 20 to 25 minutes.This mask is to be used 2 times a week. It is recommended for dry and normal skin type.
